When it comes to unique places for finishing the Jacobean pilgrimage, Muxía is second on the popularity scale. It is located 30 kilometers north of Fisterra and can easily be reached by foot or public transportation from both Fisterra and Santiago de Compostela.
The sanctuary of the Virgin of the Boat stands as solid as the rock plateau on which it has been built. It allows pilgrims to linger peacefully right at the Atlantic coast.
