Compared to the well-known trails of the Caminos de Santiago, the Camino Inglés is one of the shorter and less frequented Jacobean way in Spain. It leads from Northern Galicia southwards to the center of the region. Hikers may either start from Ferrol or La Coruña. In the past pilgrims arrived at one of these places with ships from the English-speaking islands in the North to continue their pilgrimage to Santiago.
